Surfing Video

This video isn’t directly related to media, but it does show some cool technology being used in a new way. Basically a surfer modded his surfboard so that it included some spiffy LEDs. It is relatively cool to watch clips of it in the daytime, but it is really awesome to see the board at night. This modded board could also have some practical uses too, like putting brighter lights so that you can see where you are surfing at night. Sharks generally attack surfers because they look like seals, so if you add some funky colours to your board I don’t think a shark is going to try to eat you.
